Flore Luxama
As a master’s-level clinician grounded in trauma-informed and strengths-based practice, I bring a compassionate, holistic approach to working with individuals and families in outpatient and in-home settings.
I hold a master’s degree in social work from Regis College, a certificate in advanced clinical practice for adults, and training as an infant/early childhood mental health consultant. I am also a doctoral student in human services, where my academic work continues to inform and strengthen my clinical practice.
My professional experience includes work as a school-based therapist, substance use clinician, and outpatient and in-home therapist, as well as clinical leadership roles involving programme oversight and supervision. In these capacities, I support children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, relational, and substance-related challenges across home, school, and community settings. This work has deepened my understanding of development, family systems, and the impact of trauma and life transitions.
In my current role, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing individualized therapeutic support that promotes emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy relationships. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to work toward their goals.
I am fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, which allows me to work effectively across diverse cultural contexts and to provide culturally attuned care. Cultural humility, advocacy, and inclusivity are central to my practice, and I strive to honor each client’s lived experience while fostering resilience and healing
